Tony Salmon, born in Dunedin and raised in Golden Bay, has spent the past decade living amid the rugged beauty of Tākaka Hill. Known as a stalwart of the local community, Tony dedicates his time and expertise to supporting both the Trust and the wider Tākaka Hill community.

A skilled builder and talented marble artist, Tony brings creativity and craftsmanship to his work, while his generosity and willingness to share knowledge make him a cherished member of the community.

As a Trustee, Tony plays a key role in guiding the Trust’s conservation and ecosystem protection projects. His commitment, selflessness, and dedication to making a positive impact embody the spirit of community and stewardship that defines the Tākaka Hill Biodiversity Group Trust.
